Performing and the Importance of the Arts
" I believe when words fail music speaks"
I have performed professionally throughout the state of Florida and currently hold the Miss Tampa title. I have been taught to pursue excellence through hard work and determination. As a classically trained vocalist, I love to sing challenging music. As an actress, I enjoy being able to convey emotion through singing. To quote one of my idols, Dame Julie Andrews, “Once in a while, I experience an emotion on stage that is so gut wrenching, so heart stopping, that I could weep with gratitude and joy.” When I perform, I am showing the audience a glimpse into my heart. Having honed my talent through passion, dedication, and discipline, I have been afforded the opportunity to sing in Washington D.C., for the Acting Secretary of Defense, the Armed Forces Medley for the 50th Anniversary of Vietnam Veteran’s Day, the National Anthem for many professional sporting events, and for thousands of eating disorder victims at the Buccaneers stadium.
You can do anything you set your mind to so don't let anyone tell you your dreams are too big!
The Stage is where I am meant to be.
Through acting, singing, and dancing, I am able to tell the stories of other people. I am to take my communication skills and relate to all I encounter. Performing has allowed me to shine and show the world my unique self.
